Password Protected Pages In WordPress

Not all people love membership on their website pages where everyone can see what they post. Pages can be controlled from access through passwords. Since the built-in features may not be enough to hide some pages, a plug-in for smart password can be downloaded to WordPress. This is to ensure that only those authorized through a password can access your website and review its content. Note that this does not prevent it from being indexed by search engines and therefore a premium plug-in can be considered for a where your select people are directed to.

How to create a password protected page;

• Go to WordPress dashboard-posts-add new

 

 

 

 

 

• Edit your post under hello world; click on private and type a password

 

 

 

 

 

 

• Click update then apply. The private password means that you are not hidden completely
