For one reason or another, you may want to uninstall wordpress from your hosting completely. You may be having only one installation that you want to remove or several of them and would want to remove one of them. This article gives you detailed steps of safely uninstalling wordpress from your cpanel.
Step I
Login to your cPanel and navigate to the Softaculous Apps installer section. Click on the WordPress Icon as in the following image;
Step II
Step I leads to an interface where you can import all installations, by clicking on the import icon as shown below;
While importing, pick the manual installations option and start scanning.
Step III
Check for all the installations that have been or had been imported, using the “All installations” icon as shown below;
Step IV
Step III lists all the installations you have in the cPanel. Identify your target and use the remove icon to do the uninstallation;
Step V
In the process, you will get options as the above, if you are intending to remove the installation completely, check the “Remove directory, Remove database and Remove database user ” options and proceed to click on the “Remove Installation” button at the bottom, as shown below;
