Recent Cpanel updates have scraped off the <Addon domains> option under the <Domains group> in the Jupiter theme. The guide below describes how to create an addon domain under the Jupiter theme. If the theme is still paper_lantern; refer to this guide: https://truehost.com/support/knowledge-base/how-to-create-an-addon-domain/
- Login to your Cpanel, and scroll to the Domains Group, and select Domains option

2. Under the list Domains page, click on <Create A New Domain> button.

3. On <Create a New Domain> page, enter the addon domain that you wish to add in the domain section, Uncheck <Share document root> check box.

You do not need to edit any other field.

4. Click on the submit button to create the addon domain.
Quick checks for success in the above procedure
- The domain has to be registered. For new domains, allow about an hour before adding it as an add-on.
- The domain has to have Truehost nameservers or have its A record pointing to the server where it is to be added as an add-on. see below the Truehost nameservers
- NS1.CLOUDOON.COM
- NS2.CLOUDOON.NET
- NS3.CLOUDOON.ORG
- The domain can only be added as an addon if it does not exist on that Cpanel.
- Your Cpanel must be able to accomodate the new domain as an addon. Check on the maximum addon allowed.
No change. I really don’t want the domain be pointed to a website. I will attach it to the IP address of the server running the platform.
