Browser cache is a feature provided on all browsers. What this does is, it keeps a copy of your site on the browsers ‘memory’ so that the next time you load the site, it loads faster.
However, this behavior has some side effects since it also means when you make changes to your site, they may not reflect immediately since you’ll be served a copy of your site that was saved on your browser – instead of the updated one saved on the servers your site is hosted
A workaround is usually to clear your browser cache.
This guide will help us learn how to do just that
Clearing Browser Cache the Simple Way (Recommended)
The simple, recommended way is to use your keyboard. To clear browser cache, click the following keys at the same time.
Ctrl + Shift + Del
Once clicked, you will get a dialogue box asking you to select the some options you want to clear. You may want to Uncheck Browsing History and Cookies options then click Okay or Clear
Clearing Browser Cache the Long Way
Alternatively, you can use a longer method to clear cache. The following steps show how to do it on various browsers
On Firefox
1.Click the Menu button on your top right, then click Settings
2.Select Privacy and Security
3.Uncheck the options you don’t want to clear and click Clear or Okay
