FTP Access in plesk

FTP(file transfer protocol) moves files from one server to the other. It works well with firewalls when transmitting responses through special passive FTP Extensions. The subscription a user has, entails permissions to the server through FTP by just filling the details such as the host name and the registered domain with its password. This way you are to able to publish content in the website. However using FTP access to publish the content of your site maybe risky especially when not connected to the firewall and therefore the user is encouraged to create a new FTP account to minimize the risks.

Below are the steps to accessing your FTP account

• Login to plesk and click on domains -FTP access
• Click on add FTP account
