[SECURITY ADVISORY] Beware of a Phishing Email Campaign Claiming to be from Truehost Cloud

Date: 28th November, 2024

Dear esteemed client,

We have noted a phishing campaign in progress claiming to be from Truehost Cloud. The sender address has been spoofed so the email appears to come from [email protected]. However, the actual sender is a different email from a different domain not associated with us in any way.

The email is designed to appear its from us through the use of our logo and characteristic colors.

The links embedded in such emails however redirect to suspicious looking domains. The user is then requested to enter various details including card details and account credentials. Below is a sample of such a mail.

Some of links redirect to pages like the one below

If you receive such emails, please avoid clicking any links provided in the emails. Additionally, please delete the email or mark it as spam.

Before making any payment, please confirm the website you are accessing is the Truehost Cloud website you registered in. Our websites are:

  1. Thank you so much for this clarification, I have been receiving such mails, though, have not responded to it, ones more, thanks for your timely reminder.

  2. I received an email similar to the phishing one mentioned here, but what’s more concerning is that I also received two phone calls from your company prior to receiving this email. Unfortunately, I could not hear the voice during the calls, which makes me suspicious. Given these circumstances, I believe someone within your company may be collaborating with the scammers. Could you please investigate this matter further?

Thank you for your attention to this issue.
