What To Do If You Do Not Receive SMS Verification on Registering – Safaricom (Kenya)

When you register an account with Truehost for the first time, a verification message is sent to your registerd phone number. Sometimes, the verification message may not come for your number.

This may mean the phone number could have been invalid or the SMS Gateway is being blocked from delivering the SMS to your number.

In the latter case (when SMS is not delivered due to block), you can follow the guide below attempt a fix:

1.Dial *100# on your phone

2.Select option 5, My Subscriptions

3.Select option 2, Promotional Messages

4.Select option 5, Activate ALL promo messages

5.Once done, you can resend the SMS token and you should now receive it.

If you do not want to receive any more tokens after that, you can follow the same process and Stop All promo messages.
