  • YUM / apt-get / tar / wget packages installed
  • RAM – Minimum 1 GB (Recommended 2 GB for best performance)
  • Disk Space – Minimum 5 GB (Recommended 10 GB for best performance)
  • Open Ports – 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 21, 22, 25, 53, 80, 143, 443, 465, 993, and 3306 (It is recommended to keep these ports open on your server)

Here is the procedure:

  1. Open the Shell terminal (SSH) and run the following commands:

Download the installer to your server: 

wget -N http://files.webuzo.com/install.sh

  1. Change the permissions to the file to make it executable (0755)

chmod 0755 install.sh

  1. Run the Webuzo Installer- installs the LAMP Stack, DNS Server, and FTP server along with Webuzo

./install.sh 

Wait for the installation to complete. Ensure you have a stable network connection to ensure your installation runs smoothly.

Install Webuzo Control Panel

Once everything is done, you’ll get the above message. Now you need to set up your Webuzo Control Panel to use.

Setting Up Webuzo Control Panel

  1. Visit the admin login page using this code:

https://Your-IP:2005/  or http://Your-IP:2004/

The username and password will be the root credentials details of your server.  

  1. Proceed to configure the panel:

Please enter a valid IP of this server and a hostname that any user will not use. You must point your nameserver to the server’s IP where you install Webuzo.

Webuzo will ask you for the Primary Nameserver (e.g., ns1.example.com) and the Secondary Nameserver (e.g., ns2.example.com).

Once done configuring the panel, it’s time to add new users.

  1. Adding users

After configuring the Panel, the next step is to generate end users or shared hosting users. You can access the Add User wizard within the Admin Panel by navigating to Users -> Add User. 

This user-friendly wizard requires inputting the user’s domain, username, password, and email address.
