Sometimes it may happen that you are transferring your database from one Cpanel to another manually. It may seem to be a daunting task but trust me it is NOT at all.

In this guide I am going to show you a step by step procedure on how to can obtain a backup of your database and save in your computer.

Exporting up a database

1. Login to your database.

2. Scroll down to the database section and click PHPMyAdmin

3. On your left click the particular database that you would like to extract.

4. Once you click the database, all its content will appear on your screen. Click on export at the top menu.

5. On the next page you must select an export method, either Quick or Custom.

6. From the dropdown menu, choose the format you’d like to save the file as. SQL is most common.

7. Click the Go button to continue.

8. You can choose the directory you want to download to in your computer or just save it to the default download directory.
