Sometimes it\u2019s hard to upload a theme using the manual way.<\/p>\n

This is because sometimes, themes might exceed the maximum upload size.<\/p>\n

ftp process is one of the most convenient and sure ways to upload your file\u00a0 from your computer to online sites.<\/p>\n

Requirements:<\/p>\n

  1. Download the desired theme in zip form<\/li>\n
  2. Unzip the theme into a folder.<\/li>\n
  3. Download the FileZilla client from https:\/\/filezilla-project.org<\/a><\/li>\n
  4. Install the program in your computer and run it.<\/li>\n
  5. Configure it to connect to your website.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    This are the configurations<\/p>\n

    Hostname: put the hostname that was sent to you in the new account information.<\/p>\n

    Username: put the cpanel username<\/p>\n

    Password: put the cpanel password.<\/p>\n

    Port: 21<\/p>\n

    Press quickconnect.<\/p>\n

    1. You should see the two windows side by side ie your local computer and your online site.<\/li>\n
    2. Locate the unzipped theme in your computer.<\/li>\n
    3. On the online site, locate the public_html folder<\/li>\n
    4. Inside the folder locate the: public_html\/wp-content\/theme.<\/li>\n
    5. Drag and drop your unzipped theme here.<\/li>\n
    6. For the plugin the process is the same the only change is the last folder, the path is<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      public_html\/wp-content\/plugins<\/p>\n

      1. Once you done that, monitor the progress and you\u2019ll see the completion popup.<\/li>\n
      2. Login to wp-admin and Appearance>themes\/plugins, you should see your theme.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
