cPanel provides an interface where you can add, remove or edit DNS records of your domain names. DNS records that can be managed from cPanel include the following which have simplified explanations alongside them:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 A record \u2013 This basically refers to the IP address of your domain\/subdomain <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 MX records \u2013 These are DNS records that handle emails for your domain \u2022 TXT records \u2013 These include SPF, DKIM, DMARC records \u2013 which are useful for emails. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 CNAME record \u2013 This refers to a subdomain you want your domain to point to.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Why Manage DNS records<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

You may want to manage DNS records for various reasons such as:
\u2022 If you want to use a different email service other than what is provided in cPanel eg Gsuite, Zoho
\u2022 If you want to use your domain with a website you have created elsewhere such as Shopify, Odoo etc
\u2022 If you want to use your domain with a cloud server you have rented with us or elsewhere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How to Manage DNS records<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

To manage your DNS records, follow the steps below<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. Login to your cPanel <\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Navigate to Zone Editor under Domains section and click on it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. Click Manage<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

4. Click Add Record<\/strong> to add a new DNS record or Edit<\/strong> if you want to change an existing DNS record<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you would like to remove all custom changes you have made on your Zone Editor and restore our default DNS settings, use the steps below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Login to your cPanel and navigate to Zone Editor<\/strong> under Domains<\/strong> section<\/li>
  2. Click Manage<\/strong><\/li>
  3. Click the Settings icon<\/strong> on your top-right<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n
