1. cPanel Backup Wizard<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Backup Wizard is an automated backup feature available within cPanel. You can use it to create a full backup of your entire site (including your databases) or a backup of only certain elements.<\/p>\n

1. Access cpanel and go to Backups<\/p>\n

<\/a> 2. Under Partial Backups, scroll to Download a MySQL Database Backup and click the database you would like to backup<\/p>\n

2. phpMyAdmin<\/strong><\/p>\n

This is a part of your cPanel that lets you manage databases (and the data they contain) directly as opposed to having to do it through your website.<\/p>\n

  1. Log in to your cPanel<\/li>\n
  2. Click on My cPanel<\/strong>. If you have more than one domain associated with your HostPapa account, click on the appropriate domain link, then enter your cPanel password if required.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    1. From the Databases<\/strong> section, click on phpMyAdmin<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
    2. In the left column, click the name of the database you wish to backup.<\/li>\n
    3. Click on the Export<\/strong> tab on the right.<\/li>\n
    4. Choose the tables you wish to backup, or click Select All<\/strong> to backup all of your tables.<\/li>\n
    5. Scroll down and ensure the Save as File<\/strong> box is checked off.<\/li>\n
    6. Click the Go<\/strong> button found in the lower right corner. You will be prompted to find a place on your hard drive to store the backup file, and then the download will begin.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
