White-labelling<\/strong> is replacing the software’s name with your own on everything your customers see. Truehost Reseller Panel, that covers the public website, the client area; where customers log in to pay and manage services), invoices, emails, and your own admin area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This guide is written for a reseller doing this for the first time. You don’t need any technical background for Steps 1 to 6. Step 7 needs a little help from your domain or hosting provider.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Use a separate, private browser window whenever the guide says “check the result”. It shows what customers see, not what you see while logged in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 1: Add Your Company Details<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

These appear on invoices, emails and legal pages, so fill them in carefully.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

i). Go to Setup \u2192 General Settings \u2192 Company Information<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ii). Fill in Company Name<\/strong>, Company Address<\/strong>, city and the other fields.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 2: Upload Your Logo and Favicon<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

i). Go to Setup \u2192 Appearance \u2192 Themes<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 3: Set the White-Label Options<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Why two company names?<\/strong> You entered a company name in Step 1 and another here (White-Label). If both are set, the White-Label name wins on screen. Keep them the same to avoid confusion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 4: Choose a Theme and Colours<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

  1. Go to Setup \u2192 Appearance \u2192 Themes<\/strong> and pick a theme. You can switch at any time without losing your settings.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    1. Under Color Presets<\/strong>, choose a preset, or set your own brand colours.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. Turn on Dark Mode<\/strong> if you want visitors to be able to switch between light and dark.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      Step 5: Brand Your Homepage<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

      The Homepage Builder<\/strong> controls your public homepage. Go to Setup \u2192 Appearance \u2192 Homepage Builder<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      • Switch sections on or off<\/strong> and drag them into the order you want. Sections include the hero (top banner), domain search, hosting plans, testimonials, FAQ and call-to-action.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Click Edit<\/strong> on a section to change its wording, buttons, and links.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • In the hero<\/strong> section, set your own picture with an Image URL<\/strong>, or leave it empty to show the built-in animation. Clear a text field to hide that line.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

        Step 6: Send Emails in Your Name<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

        Customers see your emails as much as your website, so this step matters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          4. Send a test email to yourself.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

            Go to Setup \u2192 Email Templates<\/strong> to adjust the wording of invoices, welcome emails and reminders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

            Send from an address on your own domain<\/strong>, and make sure your email provider’s SPF<\/strong> and DKIM<\/strong> records are set up for it. These are DNS records that prove your emails are genuine. Without them, invoices often land in spam.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

            Step 7: Use Your Own Web Address<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

            Customers should reach the panel at your domain, for example billing.yourbrand.com, not at a default address.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

            1. In your domain’s DNS settings, add an A record<\/strong> for billing that points to the panel server’s IP address. (An A record connects a name to a server’s address.)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
            2. Ask your technical contact or hosting provider to set it as the panel’s address (the setting is called APP_URL) and to issue an SSL certificate<\/strong> for it. The certificate gives you the padlock and https:\/\/.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

              If you’re not technical, send your provider these two requests as written. This is the one step most beginners hand off.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
