This guide will help you set up email services on your CWP server, allowing you to send and receive emails via your domain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Prerequisites:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A server with <strong>CWP installed<\/strong> properly. See <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/truehost.com\/support\/knowledge-base\/complete-guide-on-how-to-properly-install-control-web-panelcwp\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">this<\/a><\/strong> on how to properly  do it.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Root access<\/strong> to the server.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A valid <strong>domain name<\/strong> pointing to your server.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>rDNS<\/strong> (reverse DNS) configured for your server&#8217;s IP address  (if not, contact our <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/wa.me\/19726743814\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">support team<\/a><\/strong> to set it up to point to the server&#8217;s hostname then give it 3 hours to propagate. before proceeding). This is important.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Step 1: Log in to CWP Admin Panel<\/strong> using <a href=\"https:\/\/truehost.com\/support\/knowledge-base\/how-to-access-cwp-main-whm-panel\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">these<\/a> steps<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Step 2: Configure hostname SSL for your server<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This SSL Certificate will allow your webmail to be accessible via https and will also be used for TLS\/SSL encryption for your emails<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>If you did not, during CWP Installation, please configure your hostname using <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/truehost.com\/support\/knowledge-base\/set-up-hostname-ssl-on-cwp\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">these steps.<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Step 3: Configure SPF<\/strong> <strong>Record<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Login as root to CWP and check the Navigation pane on the left side.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Scroll down to\u00a0<strong>Email -> SPF Manager<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-style-zoooom\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"405\" height=\"714\" src=\"https:\/\/truehost.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/image-90.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-14441\" srcset=\"https:\/\/truehost.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/image-90.png 405w, https:\/\/truehost.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/image-90-170x300.png 170w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 405px) 100vw, 405px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Once you click on <strong>SPF Manager<\/strong>, you will see a form with the heading of <strong>Add SPF record<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fill the form with the recommended settings as shown by red highlights in the image below. Each section has a drop-down, which you will use to select the right value.
