Step 1. <\/strong>Login to your Joomla dashboard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 2.<\/strong> From here you can see 2 options:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

           Option 1–\nUse \u201cQuick Icons\u201d —- In the right\nmenu under \u201dQuick Icons,\u201d click \u201cAdd New Article\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          Option 2– In the top menu, click\n\u201dContent\u201d and then click \u201cArticle Manager.\u201d Then, click \u201cNew\u201d in the top left.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 3. <\/strong>On the article editor page, enter a \u201cTitle\u201d for your article and\nchoose a \u201cCategory\u201d next to that. Then, enter the content for your article\nbeneath.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 4. <\/strong>When finished writing your article, click the \u201csave\u201d button in\nthe top left menu. You should receive the following message:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once that is done you won\u2019t be able to see the article yet on\nyour website. You need to do one more thing as explained below:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Before an article is visible on your homepage you will need to\nset the article as  featured after\npublishing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 1.<\/strong> Ensure you are logged in\nto your Joomla dashboard<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 2. <\/strong>In the top menu, click\n\u201cContent\u201d and then click \u201cArticle Manager.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 3. <\/strong>From here you can:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                  a)\nOpen the article and edit — <\/em>In the list of articles, click the article title that you would\nlike to edit. In the right menu, under \u201dDetails\u201d set \u201cFeatured to Yes.\u201d Then\nclick \u201cSave\u201d in the top left menu.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

                  b) Click\nthe Featured start — <\/em>In the\nlist of articles, find the icon of a \u201cstar\u201d under the Featured column) and\nclick it. The star will change from hollow to a blue star.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 4<\/em><\/strong>. When you visit your Joomla 3.0 homepage now, you should see\nyour featured article display!<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
