This may occur in some pages of the website while others will display the <i>Green Padlock <\/i>as expected. The website however will not warn that it is completely insecure; it will only display a notice that some parts of the page are not secure.<\/p>\n<p>The reason this happens is because, some of the media\/posts in the particular pages have a relative URL that uses HTTP instead of HTTPS. The images are thus fetched for display using the insecure HTTP protocol.<\/p>\n<p>Some of these links can be seen from your browser. To view such links, click on information icon near HTTPS then click the <b>More symbol <\/b>as shown below.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-5046\" src=\"https:\/\/www.truehost.co.ke\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/1-2-300x168.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"168\" srcset=\"https:\/\/truehost.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/1-2-300x168.png 300w, https:\/\/truehost.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/1-2-50x28.png 50w, https:\/\/truehost.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/1-2-320x180.png 320w, https:\/\/truehost.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/1-2.png 438w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Then Click on <b>More Information&gt;&gt;&gt;Media<\/b>. When you look at the links displayed closely, you will see one or two of the links starting with http:\/\/ instead of https:\/\/. You can search your posts and media one by one making the change, or you can go to your database tables replacing the links one by one until finish -if you have the time and energy. The alternative however, is far much smarter. Use a Plug-in to do this replacement!<\/p>\n<p><b>In comes Better Search Replace plug-in.<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a name=\"__DdeLink__4_13106321\"><\/a> To remove that, log in to your WordPress Dashboard, install and activate a plug-in called, <b>Better Search Replace <\/b><b>by Delicious Brain<\/b>s. After that, access the plug-in by going to T<b>ools&gt;&gt;&gt;<\/b><b>Better Search Replace.<\/b><\/li>\n<li>Once loaded, in the Search for field, type: http:\/\/ and in the Replace With field, type https:\/\/<\/li>\n<li>Select all relevant tables in the <b>Select tables<\/b> field<\/li>\n<li>Uncheck the Run as dry run?
